THE SEANTINEL (2021)
This was made in college following a brief based on the COP21 event taking place in Glasgow at the time, and was submitted to Film Access Scotland's 1.5 Climate Challenge, centred around 90 second films dedicated to bringing awareness to issues and solutions concerning the adverse effects of climate change. I chose to base mine on seaweed farming, by turning the Seaweed into a kaiju that battles carbon pollution- however, I still had to make the film informative, hence the infographic part in the middle of the film. I just didnt know how to condense the information into such a short amount of time, and I wanted to stay creative with it! Alas, I actually submitted the film unfinished, but it ended up shortlisted and screened at the Glasgow Film Theatre. I may not be proud of it but it was a pretty exciting time in my college career.
